DIGI Labels has achieved the esteemed British Retail Consortium Global Standards (BRCGS) certification for Packaging Materials, for both direct and indirect food contact.
BRCGS is recognised globally as one of the most rigorous standards for manufacturers that serve the food industry. It affirms our steadfast commitment to the highest standards of quality, safety, hygiene, and operational excellence in manufacturing self-adhesive labels.
The certification follows strict audits at our label production facility in Mullingar, County Westmeath. The facility produces labels for customers across the food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, logistics and cosmetic industries.
We have grown our team by 56% in just four years. Throughout this growth, we remain dedicated to consistently high standards and ongoing improvement. We have further investment and certifications in our plans. We were recently approved for membership of Guaranteed Irish, reflecting our commitment to creating and sustaining quality jobs, and investing in local communities.
“We are thrilled to have achieved the BRCGS certification,” said Declan Boran, DIGI Labels. “Consumer safety and protection is paramount. We understand that our customers need to ensure all points in their products’ supply chain meet rigorous standards. This achievement helps to provide that reassurance.”
Jennifer Keogh, Commercial Manager added, “The BRCGS accreditation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. It shows our commitment to providing our customers with the highest quality products. We will continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of our operations.”
“This certification not only demonstrates our commitment to excellence but it also gives our customers confidence. It means our labelling solutions meet the most stringent international standards for food contact packaging materials,” concluded Kevin McGoldrick, Sales Manager.
As a BRCGS certificated company, DIGI Labels is well-positioned to further enhance its reputation as a trusted partner for businesses seeking reliable and high-quality tag and labelling solutions.
