This range of products comes from our division known as Consolidated Manufacturing. Consolidated Manufacturing was established in the mid-80’s from a home office, supplying labels and tags to Butchers only. The company’s reputation quickly grew and this lead to expansion to a factory and customers in the meat-production industry, and then fish and fruit and vegetables.
Over the years we have developed an innovative, comprehensive portfolio of tags and labels to meet every need of those involved in food-production:
Our Direct Thermal Carcass/ Fruit/ Fish Tags are Chemo Thermal tags. They are heat-activated using a Direct Thermal Printer. The printer can print information on the tag such as barcode and herd number. These tags are often used for the traceability of animal parts after slaughter.
Similar to Thermal Tags, Polyart Tags differ in that they are ribbon-over printable. This makes them ideal for variable data, e.g. processing or expiration dates, or weights. They are suitable for carcasses, fruit, vegetables and fish.
Technically named Trans MC MT Board, our “Tray Cards” are used in food-processing plants to identify the products being shipped in crates, and their delivery details. When the crates are returned and washed down, the Tray Card is disposed of.
Primarily used in porcine processing plants, these labels identify species, origin and all other necessary information.
We produce a variety of technical self-adhesive labels for challenging food production environments. Our labels can withstand damp and cold conditions on any surface type, e.g. polystyrene or cardboard.
We produce wash-off labels that stay-put on crates while they’re needed and hose-off when they aren’t. These labels can identify delivery details, crate contents and traceability information. We can design and print labels in 4-colour process too for more visually appealing, branded labels.
Available in 1 or 2 colour varieties for Direct Thermal or Ribbon-Over printing, ideal for labelling shipping boxes or products.
These labels come on a roll and once the variable information has been printed, the serrated edge on the printer will cut where required. They are available with different adhesives such as Wash-Off for plastic crates or Hot-Melt for shipping boxes.
